Vendor Information


The Shindig will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2019 from 4pm to 10pm at Humiston-Riverside Park, Water St., Pontiac, Illinois. This event will feature some of the best food vendors in central Illinois.

  • Each vendor space is 10'x20'. If additional space is needed, contact us prior to submitting your application. Vendor must provide own equipment and set up including, but not limited to, canopy, chairs, tables, etc.  
  • Application deadline is Wednesday April 15, 2019
  • The Shindig has the right to deny any vendor(s) due to duplication of products from other vendor(s); past concerns or problems with vendors/exhibitors; vendors exhibiting/selling items that are not approved or appropriate for this event. 
  • Direct sales companies are prohibited from vending at the Shindig. 
  • The vendor fee is nonrefundable in the event of cancellation or postponement due to vendor choice; vendor contract termination as a result of breaking agreement rules therein and/or Fest cancellation. 
  • All vendors must ensure health department compliance and secure proper permitting by contacting the Livingston County Health Department at (815) 844-7174 prior to the event (application included). - 
  • No accessory vehicles are allowed in the Shindig area during the event hours of 4pm to 10pm. - Vendors may only sell items listed on this vendor application. Shindig staff reserves the right to reject or charge additional fees for items not listed on the submitted application.
  • Booths must be staffed and open for business at all times during event hours. 
  • Merchandise or display may not block walkways or encroach on other vendor spots. Any vendor violating will be asked to relocate their materials.  
  • Shindig staff is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. 
  • Food vendors using grease are responsible for disposal in a safe, environmentally friendly manner.
  • Shindig staff has the authority to uphold and enforce all rules and guidelines included in this application packet and may terminate your contract at any time for noncompliance. If we find a vendor in violation of any rule, we will ask you to leave the Shindig grounds immediately with no future admissions.
  • The Summer Shindig reserve the exclusive right to sell alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks at the event. 
  • Space is Limited. Notification of acceptance or rejection via email by April 22, 2019.  
  • Onsite space assignments and load in instructions via email by May 15, 2019.

Summer Shindig 2019 Vendor Application Checklist 

  • Completed vendor application and contract.  Use this checklist of required documentation to ensure your application is complete prior to submitting. Questions?  Contact us at  
  • Must include completed application form and signed contract.
  • Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance to the Festival. You'll receive an email confirmation of your acceptance by April 9, 2019.
  • Funds payable to Marlon Eilts, Financial Services, Inc. for your selected vendor space fee. - Credit Card, Check or money orders accepted. Returned checks will incur an additional $25 fee.
  • Copy of Food Service Permit - The person listed on the certificate provided must be present at the booth at all times. 
  • Copy of Certificate of Insurance List Marlon Eilts Financial Services, Inc., 315 N. Ladd St., Pontiac, IL 61764 as additional insured. - All food vendors are required to have general liability insurance with at least $1 million limit.  
  • Mail your completed vendor packet with all required documentation before March 15th to: Marlon Eilts, Country Financial, 315 N. Ladd St., Pontiac IL 61764
